You don't have to be a Tibetan Monk or this personified put together perfect person to master the art of this practice. We don't live in the mountains, undisturbed by technology, undisturbed by super-busy lives with 9-5 jobs/families & relationships that stretch us in many different ways. It might take us busy folks longer to get to a point where they are BUT we CAN get to a point where we can silence the monkey mind, trust & listen to our guidance and balance the trinity of our mind-body-soul energy. We live in a fast paced society which means we need to find a way to somehow incorporate this into our lifestyles and make it work. This class is for the those of us who feel we have no time to fit in one more thing, who have a million-and-one things forever on our minds and who feel the overwhelm forever consuming us...if this is you, incorporating a meditation practice is very necessary for clarity, well being and control of your energy.
So have you been meaning to start a meditation practice? ...OR have started it but really haven't been consistent? ...OR you are not sure if you are doing it right? Or perhaps you feel your meditations haven't been working out? Do you want to know what it all involves, how to incorporate it into you daily routine and troubleshoot it when it feels like it isn't working? If you have answered yes to any of these questions...this is for you.
In this workshop, I will be going over the basics of Meditation. I will go over:
- the different types,
- what it involves,
- the benefits,
- ways to start,
- ways to incorporate it into your routine,
- tips to remain consistent in your practice
- troubleshooting tips: what to do when when you think it's not working right.
I will also guide you through a meditation at the end of the class to set the intention to get you started off on the right foot by the energy of the New Moon this evening.
